The Pennsylvania Innocence Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission includes securing the exoneration, release and restoration to society of persons who are actually innocent and have been wrongly convicted. Earlier this month, the Project conducted its first major training for attorneys who will represent candidates for exoneration and release. The Project’s full Mission Statement can be viewed by clicking here.

“Picking Cotton” to Support the Project
Beginning this week, the first 20 donors to the Pennsylvania Innocence Project who contribute $250 or more will receive a signed hardback copy of Picking Cotton, the compelling story of the erroneous identification and later exoneration of Ronald Cotton, as told by Mr. Cotton and his co-author Jennifer Thompson Canino. Each hardback copy of the book bears the signature of Ms. Canino, who is now a national advocate for criminal justice reform. Ms. Canino presented an abridged version of the story of Picking Cotton to a standing room only crowd at the Pennsylvania Innocence Project’s inaugural event in April at the National Constitution Center.
Note: Donations of $250 or more will receive a signed copy of
Picking Cotton. Limited to the first 20 donors only!
