Action Alert! Help Change Pennsylvania Law

Share Button

Pennsylvania has one of the most restrictive laws in the nation for those fighting to prove their innocence. Current law requires inmates to file a petition in court within 60 days of finding evidence of innocence.  Next Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Senate Judiciary Committee will vote on a critical bill – SB 1261 – that will extend that deadline to one year.

Please act TODAY: Call, email, tweet, or otherwise contact Senate Judiciary Committee members

The message is simple: Please vote to SUPPORT SB 1261. Give convicted innocents a fair chance to prove their innocence in court.
